About NorthWord
NorthWord Magazine: A Literary Journal of Canada's North is proudly published by the Northern Canada Collective Society for Writers with the support of community advertising and partnerships.
Since 2009, NorthWord Magazine has been managed and facilitated through a body of volunteers passionate about the literary arts and its active presence within the Wood Buffalo region.

The Society
The Northern Canada Collective Society for Writers (NCCSW) is a non-profit organization located in Fort McMurray, Alberta, dedicated to promoting the literary arts through its publication, NorthWord Magazine.

The Society aims to connect, support, and promote writers by offering a variety of activities, including workshops, readings, publishing, and partnerships with art organizations across Alberta.
